At Hibernia Tattoo, every piece begins with a conversation. We're a custom tattoo studio on level 2 of Hibernian House, Surry Hills — two minutes from Central Station — home to a variety of artists working across Japanese, ornamental, fine line, traditional, custom and cover-up tattoos.

Walk-ins welcome when artists are free. No shortcuts. No off-the-wall flash unless you ask for it. Just solid tattoos, drawn around your story, that hold up for life.

We’re a close-knit team of experienced artists who believe getting tattooed should feel as solid as the work itself, safe, welcoming, and built on trust. We pair strict hygiene standards with creative focus, so you can feel confident at every step of the process.

With decades of shared experience, we listen first and design later, turning your ideas into tattoos that actually hold up over time. Whether it’s your first piece or continuation of your tattoo journey, we’ll guide you through the process, from concept to aftercare, with no guesswork and no shortcuts.

We are located in one of Sydne'y’s most iconic creative buildings - Hibernia House. 201, Level 2, 342 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010. The big old green building on the corner of Elizabeth & Kippax. Buzz suite 201 and we’ll let you in. :
